Our Story
Enriching the cultural identity of Ada through the arts and creativity.
Founded in 1992, the Ada Arts Council is dedicated to encouraging participation in and appreciation of the arts in Ada, Michigan, and the surrounding areas. Since its beginning, the Council has presented a wide range of programs and events that celebrate creativity and connect our community through the arts. The organization went on hiatus in 2016 as the Village underwent major redevelopments. A mix of new and legacy members came together in the Fall of 2023 to with a desire to continue the work, and the council was reincorporated.
2026 saw the return of the council's signature community event, the Ada Arts Festival.
Led by a volunteer Board of Directors and powered entirely by volunteer members, the Ada Arts Council thrives because of community involvement. We believe Ada is a wonderful place to live and work, and we are committed to fostering a vibrant, growing arts culture.
If you share our passion, we invite you to get involved and help us continue building a thriving creative community.
