Featured Artists
The Ada Arts Council believes that artists are the backbone of our creative community. Through our Featured Artists program, we promote and support individual artists while showcasing the diversity of creative talent in Ada and the surrounding area.
Here’s how it works:
We feature several local artists throughout the year and highlight their work through the Ada Arts Council website Featured Artists page, monthly email newsletter, social media channels, and links to the artists’ personal websites.
Artists must be full-time residents of Ada, Michigan, or the greater West-Michigan area. Artists of any medium who have online work they own and are able to license are eligible to participate. Mediums may include (but are not limited to) visual art, literature, music, video, dance, theater, storytelling, and traditional arts.

Betsy O'Neil
Betsy is an artist based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In her professional art career, her artistic focus has centered on painting her experiences and interactions with Michigan landscapes. Betsy finds a rejuvenation with soul and spirit through hours spent outdoors and hopes that through her works of art, you too will feel a connection to places within your memories.
